Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-08
This Cookie Policy explains how Capreolus ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on capreolus.app, dashboard.capreolus.app, docs.capreolus.app, and status.capreolus.app (collectively, the "Sites"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies let us recognize a returning visitor, keep you signed in, and measure how the Sites are used. Some cookies are set by us directly (first-party); others are set by services we embed (third-party).
Categories we use
We group cookies into four buckets and only set the categories that match the consent you give. None of our cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Sites to work. They keep you signed in, remember your organization context, and protect against CSRF. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies — without them the Sites do not function.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | __Host-capreolus-session | Capreolus | Authenticated session | 7 days | | KEYCLOAK_IDENTITY | Keycloak (auth.capreolus.app) | OIDC session | 30 days | | __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management | 30 minutes |
2. Functional
Remember your preferences (theme, locale). Set after you sign in.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | capreolus-theme | Capreolus | Light / dark mode preference | 12 months | | capreolus-locale | Capreolus | UI language (en / tr) | 12 months |
3. Analytics
Anonymous, aggregated usage measurement. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. We do not currently set any analytics cookies until we add a privacy-respecting analytics provider; this category is reserved for future use and is opt-in by default.
4. Marketing
We do not set marketing cookies. Capreolus does not run advertising and does not share data with ad networks. This category will stay empty unless our practices change — in which case this page is updated and existing visitors are re-prompted.
How to control cookies
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser at any time:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Removing strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and require you to sign in again.
Do Not Track
Capreolus respects the Sec-GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal. When your browser sends Sec-GPC: 1 we treat that as a request to disable all non-strictly-necessary cookies for the session, regardless of any prior consent we received.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie or change an existing one we will update this page and (where the change is material) prompt for fresh consent the next time you visit. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest change.
