Data Deletion Instructions
Capreolus respects your right to delete your data. There are two ways to delete your account and all associated data.
Option 1 — In-app
- Open the Capreolus app
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Confirm by entering your email address
- Tap Delete account
- We email you a confirmation link
- Click the link within 24 hours to complete deletion
This is the fastest option and works on iOS and Android.
Option 2 — Email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email if it differs from the sender. We will:
- Confirm receipt within 5 business days
- Verify your identity (we may ask a security question or send a verification email)
- Schedule deletion within 30 days of verification
- Send a final confirmation when deletion is complete
What gets deleted
- Your user record (name, email, hashed password)
- Your profile and notification preferences
- Organizations you own (you must transfer ownership first if any other members exist; otherwise the organization is deleted with you)
- SaaS apps and mobile apps you've connected
- Project Brain (AI agent) memory and conversation history
- Push notification tokens
- Crash reports tied to your account (Sentry user-scrub triggered)
What is retained (and why)
The following items are retained for the period stated, even after account deletion, because we are legally required to keep them:

Subscription cancellation
Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Play Store subscription. Apple and Google manage those independently. Cancel via:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Capreolus → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Capreolus → Cancel
Web subscribers can cancel from capreolus.app billing page.
Confirmation
After deletion completes, we email you confirming the records that were deleted and the records that were retained (with the legal basis).
